The incoming Director of Instruction - Human Resources for School District 23, John Simonson, will explain the process used to select new teachers to the District, describe the attributes of successful candidates to the TTOC list, and the steps in the system needed to secure a teaching contract
Principals, Maeve Buckley and Vianne Kintzinger, will speak to the expectations of TTOC's in schools and what principals are looking for when filling short term and temporary contract positions
Teachers, Kristi Eisenhut and Austin Ross, already working in the system, will share some of their own experiences in the classroom
COTA President Elect, Susan Bauhart, will briefly explain how the Central Okanagan Teachers Association supports teachers.
